‘ Without name ‘ Paolo Faga 5et it’s a project pondered since a long time and finally achieved. It’s based on the idea of merging a cool jazz style with contemporary experiences but associated with the same classical thread wherin sound is always elaborated and explored in its beauty. It becomes real thanks to greatly and incontrovertibly talented musicians: Flavio Nicotera, Alex Carreri, Giorgio Di Tullio e Mario Zara interpreting author’s choice at their the best. Nine compositions among which are notable Tutu’s and Seven Steps To Heaven’s reinterpretation, an essential tribute to Miles Davis who’s always been source of inpiration for Faga, both for what concerns his style and his sound. All pieces are ruled by a great stylistic balance wherein each musician is able to express his own personality; Flavio Nicotera’s soloing cues are original and really well-performed so he undoubtably deserves the epithet of “special guest”.
