‘ Mauro Brunini Jazz Quintet – In My Mind ‘ In this record and live project, musicians introduce to a repertoire of original compositions trying to pay homage to the hard bop period.
Inspired by genre’s features and exploiting a quintet line up, with a two horns front line, they created a connection between the style of that age and a more contemporary jazz. “In My Mind” is something arising out of musicians’ mind and personal experiences, then shared through and album which encompasses a musical thought, a simple and straightforward message for listeners.
